Our Vision:
The Worship Team will help all worshipers experience worship
that honors God and celebrates Jesus Christ as the Way, the
Truth, and the Life, and presents the truth of God’s Word
in a way that is meaningful to all age groups.
Our Approach:
Worship gatherings at CCC are about people gathering to live
out the words of the Psalmist: “Come, let us bow down
in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is
our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under
his care.” We are committed to a multi-sensory approach
of bowing, kneeling, listening, learning, looking, singing,
caring, touching, and loving with our whole being. The results
of worship at CCC will produce in us a greater love for God
and a greater love for people.
Our Guidelines:
We will evaluate worship experiences at CCC based on the following
questions:
- Did we lift up the name of Jesus as the centerpiece of
why we gathered?
- Did we have time in the Scriptures learning the story of
God and man?
- Did we pray together and have time to quiet our hearts to
hear God’s voice and yield to his Spirit?
- Did we experience the joy, love, and encouragement of being
together?
- Did we take the Lord’s Supper regularly?
- Did we somehow remind everyone of the mission of the church?
- Did we enable people to contribute something as part of
