Tuesday, February 3, 2004 Safari Day
What an exciting day we had, quite out of the ordinary! We hired a guide and headed for the bush to find wild giraffes. We were successful and found two herds quietly grazing on the surrounding tree tops. It was thrilling to watch them and take pictures. We were fortunate to see young ones with their mothers and older males. We remarked that even if we hadn't been able to see the herds the experience was thrilling; it was awesome to see such delicate animals in their dry harsh environment.

We did not have class tonight because of the weekly Tuesday night prayer meeting. After prayer meeting we went to Dr. and Mrs. Addo's home for dinner. We have been blessed by the wonderful hospitality of the church members.

When we emailed this afternoon we received notification that four emails we sent were returned to us. We hope most of our jottings have made it to you.
